Welcome to IndianaNorthstars.com
In 2011 the Indiana NorthStars will be competing in the U17 age group. Our roster has been finalized and we are already focused on providing developmental opportunities, exposure to college coaches, and scheduling the best competition in the region.
We recognize that most high school programs provide adequate opportunities for off-season conditioning, workouts and instruction, thus reducing the off-season role of travel team programs and other “for profit” baseball facilities. In the off-season, our goal is to schedule periodic workouts to monitor progress and supplement and support the school’s efforts.
In the 2012 season, the Northstars will be transitioning to a new coaching staff as well as a new age group. Northstars' pitching and catching coach, Michael Fuller, will be stepping into the roll of head coach as long-time head coach John Fansher and assistant coach Loren Temple take time to follow their sons' college careers. Both men have done a great deal to build a respected name for this organization, and we are very excited to carry on the Northstars tradition as we move into a new generation of Northstars baseball.
The Indiana Northstars will be building a new 13U team for the 2012 season. A balanced mix of 12 and 13 year old boys will comprise next year's team as we look to give the experience and instruction necessary to build long, successful baseball careers in high school, college, and beyond.
Tryouts for the 2012 season will be held Saturday, September 10th 2011, on the field behind Brownsburg West Middle School:

Our Mission
The Indiana NorthStars program is structured to provide a family friendly experience by focusing on moderation. This includes moderation in travel, player fees and the number of games scheduled.
Most of all, we want summer baseball to be productive and enjoyable for our players and their families. We believe this can be achieved by:
-
Developing the skill sets our players will need to be successful
-
Providing opportunities for players to develop at multiple positions
-
Providing adequate playing time for the entire roster
-
Competing against quality competition
-
Consistently performing at a high level
-
Gaining confidence in ourselves and our teammates
-
Building lasting relationships with our teammates and their families
-
Gaining the respect of our opponents
-
Establishing a schedule that is indicative of “play” not “work”
-
Minimizing overuse injuries through moderation and monitoring
-
WINNING. Make no mistake about it. This is competitive baseball at the highest level
